I recently watched an interesting movie “Click (2006)” . The movie talked about a man who bought a universal remote control and how this remote control changed his life. He was very obsessed with his work and always chose to sacrifice his time with the family in order to work more and get promoted. After “fast-forwarded” so many important period of time in his life, he figured out that family should be an important part in his life.
In thinking back on my life, luckily, I haven’t traded off so much time away for my study/work. In the future, I hope that I can be more balanced on work and relationship. In the future, I would like to be more caring of my family, my friends and my colleagues. I can say that in the near future, when we are too busy in working, we might forget that we need to care more about the ones we are closest with, like our parents, our children and our friends. Work-life balance is hard but should always be kept in mind.
